«Armenia: facing global crisis» economic forum got underway today morning. The reports and discussions will continue by the end of the day.
«Armenia: facing global crisis» economic forum is held by «Policy Forum Armenia» international organization, to discuss the possible impacts of the world financial-economic crisis on Armenia, as well as predetermine the activities to mitigate the negative impact of the crisis.
The forum is to contribute to the active discussion on the particular tendencies of the financial-economic crisis in the world and in Armenia. The discussion will be followed by a round table, when the Armenian PM-in-office and the former PM will introduce the future directions of the economic policy.
Invited to the forum are the former first deputy chairman of the Russian Central Bank Sergay Alexashenko, Russia’s academician Abel Aghanbegyan, the former Finance Minister of Hungary Lajos Bokros and others.
