Israeli diversionists kill Iranian military constructor
Founder and developer of the Iranian drones, a constructor Reza Baruni, was killed early in August in a raid by Israeli armed diversionists, who entered his well-defended villa in western Iran, Russian media reported citing the Israeli media.
The attack came as a strong, and even a mortal blow against Iranian programme of developing the drones, some experts said.
The deadly blast occurred on August 1, in the city of Ahwaz of oil-rich Khuzestan, which is being strongly defeated as this is a strategically important region and a center where local authorities live, Debka-Net-Weekly reported.
Reportedly, the blast damaged the roof, which collapsed inside the house, and caused a fire. Bodies of Reza Baruni, his wife and two children and a relative were buried under the ruins. Later rescuers pulled their bodies out.
Media quoted the authorities as saying that the blast was caused by a gas container; however, according to a report by Debka-Net-Weekly's intelligence source bombs were placed in at least three corners of the building and were actuated at the same time.
