Nature protector: “We are to make up serious decisions”

President of the “Association for Sustainable Development” NGO Karine Danielyan on the TV-bridge of Yerevan-Moscow-Kiev-Astana mentioned that those who accept decisions think the forest serves for the human while the ecologists on the contrary think it is the people who should serve for the forest.

The theme of the TV Bridge was “The forests for people or people for the forests?”

“The approaches differ greatly and there is also difference in realizing the situation; we do not appreciate the forests,” K. Danielyan mentioned and added that it is obvious that the situation in the whole world becomes worse.

According to the speaker that international society should appraise the country which protects the forest, and it should be expressed financially. “We have to take up serious problems today,” the nature protector announced.

Karine Danielyan reminded the words of Indian PM Rajiv Gandhi on the summit dedicated to the Country of Rio in 1992, when applying to the bearers of the western civilizations said, “It is you who is to be blamed for the things that happens on our planet, it is you who considers the human being higher than the nature, it is your ambitions that ruin the Earth.”

“We are the smallest particle of the biosphere, if we do not follow the rules of the biosphere, we will disappear. The damage that we cause to the biosphere returns like a boomerang,” the nature protector believes.
