Gabriel Sargissian took a new victory
Armenian GM Gabriel Sargissian took a new victory at the open in Rethymno, Greece. In the 7th round he beat IM Sundar Shyam (India).
After 7 rounds Sargissian continues solely leading with 6,5 points. The nearest rival of the Armenian chess player - GM Yuriy Kryvoruchko (Ukraine) has 6 points.
In the penultimate 8th round Sargissian is going to play with blacks against GM Sergey Volkov (Russia).
