Levon Barseghyan number one candidate for Gyumri Mayor
Gyumri mayor Vardan Ghukasyan, accompanied by deputy mayor, visited the National Assembly Friday. He refused to answer what the purpose of his visit was, referring to travel fatigue.
According to Hraparak daily’s sources, he was invited to the parliament by Hovik Abrahamyan. According to paper’s information, Abrahamyan asked him whether he was going to run for reelection, and the answer was “yes.” It is not known what Abrahamyan said in response, but Ghukasyan was obviously in low spirits after the meeting. When asked whom he considers his number one rival, Ghukasyan said, “Only Levon Barseghyan and no one else.”
