Petros Makeyan against backing PAP candidate

Member of Armenian National Congress (HAK), leader of Democratic Homeland party Petros Makeyan told Hraparak daily that HAK will hold a political council meeting soon to decide on its position on the upcoming local self-government elections.

Asked whether HAK can decide to back PAP candidates in some communities, Makeyan said, “There has been no discussion about backing any candidates, but as for me, as a member of HAK and a party leader I am against backing a PAP candidate.”
