Baker Gago acting director of Gyumri’s Italian polyclinic

Gagik Adamyan, a member of Gyumri Council of Elders, a former baker, has been appointed acting director of Gyumri’s Italian polyclinic, Zhoghovurd reports.

“The “godfather” of this disgraceful appointment is RPA Deputy Chairman Galust Sahakyan. With his support, baker Adamyan sacked laboratory doctor Armine Kocharyan because she tried to argue with him at a working meeting,” the paper says.

Zhoghovurd asked Hovhannes Hovhannisian, head of Shirak regional administration’s health department, whether he was aware of Adamyan’s activities. He said that Armine had committed a disciplinary violation, inflicted financial loss to the hospital.

“She is rebelling, but is it right? We should not reward such people, should we? Adamyan is no prize either, but you don’t see the problem: the hospital has AMD 15 million in debt,” he is quoted as saying.
