Argentina wants to deepen cooperation with Armenia: MFA
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan received a delegation led by Argentine Deputy Foreign Minister Eduardo Zuain that arrived in Yerevan for consultations between the foreign ministries, according to the press service of Armenian MFA.
Welcoming the guests, Edward Nalbandyan said the Armenian president’s official visit to Argentina in July 2014 gave renewed impetus to bilateral cooperation in various spheres. He expressed confidence that the agreements reached at the high level will be implemented by joint efforts.
Eduardo Zuain expressed his gratitude for the reception, stressing that Argentina wants to deepen cooperation with Armenia. In this connection he attached importance to regular mutual visits at the high level.
Minister Nalbandyan said the organized Armenian community in Argentina greatly contributes to the development of friendly relations between Armenia and Argentina.
Both sides noted with satisfaction that the visa-free regime, the rich legal and contractual framework and the fact that the two capitals are sister cities are important factors for deepening bilateral cooperation.
International and regional problems were also discussed at the meeting.
After the meeting, Director of Diplomatic School of Armenian MFA Vahe Gabrielyan and Director of Argentina’s National Foreign Service School Juan Valle Raleigh signed an agreement on cooperation between the two educational institutions.
