Greek president to pay state visit to Armenia
President of Greece Karolos Papoulias will arrive in Armenia on September 29 on a two-day state visit at the invitation of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, the presidential press service reported.
Karolos Papoulias will meet with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Speaker of the Parliament Galust Sahakyan, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan. He will visit the Memorial to the Armenian Genocide Victims to lay a wreath.
During a meeting in the presidential residence, the sides are expected to sign documents on the strengthening and deepening of Armenian-Greek relations, after which the two Presidents will make a statement for the press.
An Armenian-Greek business forum with the participation of the two heads of state will be held in Yerevan. Karolos Papoulias will also visit the Garni cultural and historical museum-reservation.
