Greece can enter markets of Customs Union countries via Armenia
An Armenian-Greek business forum opened in Yerevan as part of the state visit of Greek President Karolos Papoulias to Armenia.
Director of the Armenian Development Agency (ADA) Robert Harutyunyan said that among those who arrived in Armenia are representatives of 16 Greek companies operating in IT industry, construction, metallurgy, telecommunications, real estate market, agriculture, and tourism.
Greece can enter the markets of Customs Union countries and CIS member states via Armenia, the director of ADA said noting that the Armenian side is prepared to cooperate with Greek partners in that direction.
In 2013 the turnover of commodities between Armenia and Greece amounted to $22 million. In Armenia there are currently ten companies with Greek capital.
