Nairit plant workers to get one month back wages in January
Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received again a group of workers of Nairit chemical plant, according to the press office of the government.
The possibility of resuming the plant’s work and possible steps in that direction were discussed at the meeting. It was mentioned that the problems of Nairit should be solved only within legal boundaries and the government is prepared to use every opportunity to re-launch the plant in the future. Experts of the World Bank will do studies concerning the possibility to re-launch Nairit. The conclusions will be given in the first quarter of 2015.
Measures are being taken so that in January Nairit workers could receive back wages for yet another month. They already received one-month wages in November and will be paid in December as well.
