Armenian president’s residence hosts children of military and veterans
On the occasion of the New Year and Christmas, the Armenian presidential residence hosted children and grandchildren of fallen and disabled azatamartiks (Karabakh war participants), veterans and servicemen who participated in the Karabakh war (Including those from the Nagorno Karabakh Republic), as well as handicapped children, according to the presidential press service.
On behalf of Mrs Rita Sargsyan and himself, President Serzh Sargsyan congratulated all those present, saying: “Dear children! I am glad that you are seeing the old year off with songs, dances and games and your joy gives a new breath to this building, these walls. This breath will remain in the building for a long time. We often receive children in the presidential residence, in particular the pupils who enhance the prestige of our country with their performance and behavior, for example, by winning prizes at international school Olympiads. I am sure that years later, many of you will enter this building as winners to receive the Armenian Presidential Awards for young scholars and young creative people.
Remember, dear children that everything will be fine and you will be able to complete everything successfully, but you need to do everything with joy and love and in this case you will reach success.
You are the hope of our country, its future. You want you to have greater achievements in 2015. I want your parents to praise you more in 2015 for good behavior and good learning performance. Mrs Rita and I wish you a Happy New Year and we wish that the coming year be much better for you than you can imagine”.
