Cases against Armentel dismissed
Armenian Economic Competition Protection State Committee (ECPSC) dismissed three administrative cases held basing on complaints against «Armentel» CJSC, said the head of judicial services of «Armentel» David Sandukhchyan.
Complaints have been made by «Protection of Consumers’ rights» NGO which did not follow the proceedings. This circumstance made «Armentel» think that the mentioned organization had presented the complaint not taking into consideration interests of consumers but rather did it for self-advertisement.
The first complaint refers to the problems of using Hi Line service. ECPSC has dismissed the case as the abovementioned problems have occurred as a result of limitations in traffic exchange carried out by other providers.
Second complaint was with regard to the mistake of the operator when subscriber of GPRS service received wrong information. The mistake has been corrected by «Armentel» in due time and the subscriber had no financial losses.
The case on third complaint was on the sum levied for providing call listing. Sandukhchyan mentioned that the sum is established by ECPSC, hence, it’s no use charging «Armentel» with it.
Sandukhchyan called all the organizations for protection of consumers’ rights not to reproach but to cooperate, thus helping the company to see its mistakes and carry out its operations to the benefit of consumers.
