Sportsmen are to face serious trials
In Poland on March 2-8, Winter Sports World Cup will be held. The participants of the cup have not been decided yet, informed chief coach of Armenian national team Boris Vasilyan. The names of the sportsmen will be published after holding Armenian Cup and the championship in memory to Nune Abrahamyan.
During the following months various sports championships will be launched in Armenia. The sportsmen are to face serious trials as the World Cup is yet to come.
The chief coach of Armenian Federation of synchronised swimming Anahit Tavrizyan reported that Armenian synchronised swimming championshiph will be held in March. The champions of Armenian Cup 2008 are to face serious trials in July. On July 19 championship of adults will be held when the sportsmen will perform solo and duet types.
There are 12 sportsmen in the team and generally there are about 50 children who go in for synchronised swimming, said the chief coach of Armenian synchronised swimming team.
She also pointed out that in the championship of adults they are going to struggle for reaching the final, however, Anahit Tavrizyan considers it is too early to take any prize positions.
Shooting team will also take part in the championship.
