Armenian Government needs project-managers
At the end of 2008 Tigran Sargsyan assigned administrations to cooperate with scientific institutions and make business projects to mitigate the influence of world financial crisis on Armenia.
In today’s Government session the prime minister pointed that 70 applications for business projects have been received already which are intended to increase economy resistance.
Armenian prime minister said that the majority of 70 applications are being worked out as the information and analysis did not meet the requirement of Government. Some applications have been refused and some of them are at the second stage of discussions now.
«Here the state should render assistance to call the projects to life as soon as possible », said the prime.
Tigran Sargsyan also mentioned that «there is a shortage of project managers, and we don’t have specialists who can carry out ideas, who can use ideas to conceive projects».
The prime-minister suggested holding special project-management courses in ministries.
«This year we should prepare at least 22 project managers for the ministries, and the candidates should be proposed by ministries», said T. Sargsyan.
