Aronyan to compete with Daniel Stellwagen
After two games in «Corus-Chess 2009» 71st Chess International Tournament held in Vejk an Zee, Netherlands, the Armenian gross master, gold-medal awardee of 38th world chess Olympiad Levon Aronyan has gained 1 point.
During the first game Aronyan played to a draw with Chinese Vang Yu. In the second tour Aronyan competed with Azeri Rajabov and again none of the players was able to gain a victory.
Armenian Sergey Movsisyan, representing Slovakia, Sergey Karjakin and Jan Smets have 1,5 points and have taken the lead in the list.
Armenian gross master Levon Aronyan is the present champion of the Tournament. In 2008 he gained the title of the champion and was defeated only once.
In the third tour Aronyan will compete with Dutch Daniel Stellwagen.
