Armenia issues two commemorative coins

Armenian CB has issued 2 new comemmorative coins.

The first one is a silver coin issued in the frames of «Kings of Football» international programme and is devoted to Lev Yashin.

The second one is a gold coin issued with the image of Aries, in the frames of «Horoscope signs» international monetary programme.

In the upper semi-circle of the front side of «Lev Yashin» commemorative coin there is a crown with a lion on both sides lined by a script «Kings of Football». At the bottom there is a football. At the back side of the coin emerges the portrait of Yashin with the USSR flag at the background. On the left of the portrait is the football. Below is Yashin's signature. At the top left side is a script «Lev Yashin». The coin values 100 drams and the number of coins issued makes 200 thousand.

In the center of the front side of «Aries» coin is the emblem of Armenia, above is the year of issue – 2009. It is lined by two circles. The field between the circle - lines is separated to 12 parts with the images of horoscope signs. In the back side one can see the Aries with stars at the background. The coin values 10 thousand drams and the number of issued coins makes 10 thousand.
