Sergey Movsisyan takes the lead
After the 8th tour of «Corus-Chess 2009» 71st Chess International Tournament held in Vejk an Zee, Netherlands, the Slovakian representative Sergey Movsisyan took the lead in tournament list.
Aronyan has 4,5 points and comes second with 3 other gross masters – Karjakin, Dominguez and Rajabov.
Karlsen, Van Veli, Kamski, Adams and Smets have 4 points. Stellwagen, Ivanchuk and Vang have 3,5 points. Morozevich comes last in the tournament list with 2,5 points.
On January 25, the pairs Levon Aronyan – Luke Van Veli, Sergey Movsiyan – Jan Smets, Rajabov – Dominguez, Stellwagen – Adams, Karlsen - Kamski played to draw.
Vang took over Morozevich and Ivanchuk gained victory over Karjakin.
Tomorrow, in the 9th tour Levon Aronyan will play with Dominguez and Sergey Movsisyan will compete with Karjakin.
