World Economic Forum Annual Meeting to be held in Davos
Today 39th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting was held in Davos. The Meeting will be focused on managing the current crisis and shaping the entire post-crisis agenda, from economic reform to climate change, aol.fr reports.
The organizers think, the forum is going to be historical in terms of record number of its participants. In general, about 2500 delegations from different countries, among which are 40 presidents, have confirmed their participation in the forum.
The Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin will open the Annual Meeting.
Among participants are German Kanzler Angela Merkel, Prime Minister of Great Britain Gordon Brown, President of the European Central Bank Jean-Claude Trichet and other officials.
Today meeting of Armenian and Azeri Presidents will take place in Davos.
