Armenian Government to allocate more means to regions

First Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration of Armenia Vache Terteryan presented Armenian Government a report on works done in 2008 and works to be done in 2009.

For precise organization of 2009 works the Ministry along with other ministries has carried out analysis on regional indexes. According to deputy minister, the analyses are to help organize the state means to be allocated to the communities and regions.

Terteryan noted that the program will provide opportunity to work out criteria on formulation of state budget to be implemented from 2010 year which can contribute to equal development of regions.

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan commissioned to review future programs and indexes.

«We are going to launch the process of forming state budget 2010. We should carry out redistribution of proportions to increase the development tendencies in regions», Armenian PM said.
