Russia to allocate loan of 500 million dollars to Armenia
Russia will allocate stabilization loan of 500 million dollars to Armenia to mitigate the impact of current financial crisis. This has been reported by Russian Minister of Finance Aleksey Kudrin, Ria Novosti (rian.ru) reports. The minister also said that Russia is ready to support the other CIS countries as well. He pointed Belarus and Kyrgyzstan to be among these countries.
Kudrin informed that Belarus will be provided a loan of 2 billion dollars and Kyrgyzstan will be given a loan of more than 2 billion dollars.
Remind that on January 22 Armenia was reported to have requested Russia for stabilization loan.
