U.S. Senate approves the American economy assistance program
On Friday, the U.S. Senate members have agreed to approve the American economy assistance program valued 780 billion dollars. The program had been proposed by Barack Obama’s Administration, France Presse agency reports.
Not wanting to reveal its name to the agency, the source outlined that by now the agreement has been reached only among Extreme Representatives of the Democratic and the Republican Parties. The date of voting has not been reported yet.
First, it was foreseen to allocate 937 billion dollars for the American economy assistance program, however, after discussions held in the Lower Chamber of the Congress, the sum was cut to 819 billion dollars. After the agreement with the Senate it was cut to 780 billion dollars.
