Armenian-Turkmenian Economic Commission session launched
Yesterday the first session of Armenian-Turkmenian Intergovernmental Economic Commission was launched in Ashkhabad, press and information administration of Armenian Foreign Ministry reports.
Armenian delegation is chaired by Armen Movsisyan, Armenian Minister of Energy and the co-chairman of Armenian-Turkmenian Intergovernmental Economic Commission.
Turkmenian side is chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan Khidir Saparliev.
Prior to the session, President Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov received Armen Movsisyan. At the meeting the sides touched upon the issues concerning Armenian-Turkmenian mutually beneficial cooperation in different spheres. They attached importance to further promotion of relations between two countries.
Ambassador of Armenia to Turkmenistan Vladimir Badalyan was also present at the meeting.
In the frames of Armenian-Turkmenian Intergovernmental Economic Commission, Armen Movsisyan and Armenian delegation members are going to have meetings with Deputy Prime Ministers of Turkmenistan Saparliev, Tagiyev and Yazmuhamedova, Minister of Energy of Turkmenistan Orazguliyev, as well as with the chairs of Turkmenian Central Bank and State Air Company.
