Russia to provide loan to a number of countries
A number of countries have applied to Russia for stabilization loan to mitigate the impact of the world crisis, Ria Novosti (rian.ru) reports referring to the announcement made by Aleksey Kudrin, Russian Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister.
«We have limited resources and we render support to our closest states. Russia feels highly responsible for CIS countries and first of all, for EurAsEc member-states», Kudrin said.
He reminded that Russia and Kazakhstan have already established a united Army and are now trying to establish Anti-Crisis Fund.
«We have helped Belarus. Now it is Kyrgyzstan’s turn. We are also ready to help Armenia», Deputy Prime Minister announced.
Besides, Russia may provide loan to Ukraine. «As no official applications have been received, we are holding talks on the level of Finance Ministers», Kudrin outlined.
