Jehovah's Witnesses literature recognized as extreme
Russian Federal Security Service of Sverdlovsk Region has conducted 5 expertise missions on Jehovah's Witnesses literature. The expertise has proved the literature to be of extreme nature, lenta.ru reports.
According to the source, Sverdlovsk Prosecutor Aleksei Almayev told Interfax agency that Prosecutor's Office studies the possibility to bring a suit on recognizing Jehovah literature as extreme.
Sverdlovsk Prosecutor mentioned that the literature publishers cannot be punished as they are in the USA.
Note that Jehovah's Witnesses Sect has about 7 million members worldwide. The sect was founded in the late 19th century by Charles Taze Russell. In 1931 it was named Jehovah's Witnesses.
