Court proceedings on «The Case of 7» goes on

Today at 12 the court proceedings on «The Case of 7» started. Like the previous time, the defendants stood up as the Judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan stepped into the court hall.

Though the defendants refused to sit, the Judge went on with the proceedings and suggested discussing mediation of judge's rejection proposed by Attorney Hovik Arsenyan. Judge Martirosyan suggested the attendants presenting their disposition on the issue.

The prosecution was against the mediation since it was «groundless and should be rejected.»

Defendant Aleksander Arzumanyan mentioned that he doesn't care who the Judge will be as the case has been a political order to be implemented in any case.

Another defendant Shant Harutyunyan condemned Armenian intelligentsia, particularly Alvard Petrosyan and Vahram Sahakyan, etc. having assumed a prosecutor's role recently.

Eventually, the Judge rejected the mediation.
