New investment opportunities in diamond business

RA Economy minister Nerses Yeritsyan and UAE minister of foreign trade HE Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi paid a visit to diamond manufacturing plants in Nor Achin, Armenia. The UAE minister was introduced the current developments of goldsmith business in Armenia, the technologies as well as possible tendencies for the development of export and import.

«The visit aims at signing long-term investment agreements with our partners in the UAE,» Nerses Yeritsyan said.

According to the minister of economy, Armenian party proved Arab representatives to be a high society, able to work out new ideas.

Generally, major programes on science, technologies and engineering have neen introduced, Yeritsyan states.

«We mentioned there is engineering creative idea here and it costs money. Arabs are aggressive investors, hopefully, we managed to convince them,» Economy minister said.
