Hoffenheim owner urges German clubs to cut expenses
German Hoffenheim owner Dietmar Hopp urged German clubs to cut expenses under conditions of financial crisis. «Football-players' salaries are too high, we will have to cut them if the crisis continues,» 68-year-old billionaire said.
The Bundesligue richest man thinks, the club's revenues will fall. First, the sponsorship sums will be cut, then, football will become less attractive for the audience. «I can imagine the tickets sales to get worse,» he announced.
