Lithuanian currency not to be depreciated
Lithuanian authorities are going to avoid depreciation of national currency and people having exchanged lit into another foreign currency, will have to exchange it back, the Chairman of the Board of Lithuanian Bank Reinoldijus Sarkinas said, vesti.ru reports.
«This could not be a solution to the problem. Lithuania is obligated to maintain lit stability by the time it enters euro zone and so it will be. I could even say, the rumors on currency depreciation are criminal and are targeted to the people hurrying to banks,» Reinoldijus Sarkinas announced.
