Tigran Petrosyan takes over Nizhnik
In the 5th tour of European Men’s Chess Championship held in Budva, Chernogoria, Armenian representative Tigran Petrosyan, playing black figures, took over Ukrainian Nizhnik. By now he has gained 4points out of 5 possible and is listed among leaders, ending from 4-26 in the tournament list.
Tigran Kotanjyan, unfortunately, lost to Neubeck. Artashes Minasyan lost again, this time to Predoevich.
Zaven Andriasyan and Vladimir Hakobyan ended in draw.
Armenian Vladimir Hakobyan, rating 2700, comes second among 305 participants, however, the player hasn’t demonstrated appropriate game by now.
The Spanish player Francisco Vallejo, rating 2702, is at the top.
