Lilit Mkrtchyan leads Women’s European Chess Championship
In Women’s Individual European Chess Championship held in Saint Petersburg, Armenian representative Lilit Mkrtchyan shows brilliant results.
In the 6th round L. Mkrtchyan took over Polish Monika Socko, listed among the first four leaders with 4,5 points. The other two players leading the championship list, Melia Salome and Hungarian Hoang ended in draw and now Lilit Mkrtchyan has taken the lead with 5,5 points.

Armenian Nelly Aghinyan ends 28th with 4 points. Siranoush Andriasyan comes 92nd with 3 points. Lilit Galoyan and Anna Hayrapetyan have only 2,5 points ending 108th and 113th respectively.
