Aronian takes lead in Amber Blindfold and Rapid tournament
In Round 5 of the 18th Amber Blindfold and Rapid tournament, held in Nice, France, Armenian representative Levon Aronian won against Magnus Carlsen in rapid game and ended in draw in blindfold. Now Aronian and Kramnik lead with 6,5 points. The latter ended in draw both games with Topalov.
Morozevich ends third with 6 points. Next come Topalov and Anand with 5,5 points. Carlsen, Radjabov, Kamsky have 5 points, Leko has 4,5 points, Karjakin – 4 points, Ivanchuk – 3,5 points, Wang Yue – 3 points.
