Armenian President visits Tatev Hydroelectric Power Station
On his working visit to Syunik region, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan visited Tatev Hydroelectric Power Station today, where he was introduced the works conducted in the station.
Tatev Hydroelectric Power Station is a part of Vorotan Hydroelectric Power Station, a system including 3 stations on a 178-km-long area with Tatev’s station occupying 1221 metres.
In the frames of the grant program, in 2004-2005 Tatev Hydroelectric power station was equipped with new modern appliances, highly increasing the dependability of the station works.
The station workers’ salary makes 109 thousand drams (about $300).
