FIDE Grand Prix tournament: Aronian takes sole lead

In Round 10 of the FIDE Grand Prix tournament in Nalchik Armenian GM Levon Aronian defeated his Ukrainian opponent Pavel Eljanov and currently has taken sole lead in the tournament list. Levon Aronian has 6,5 points leaving behind him Peter Leko with 6 points.

Evgeny Alekseev who shared 1-2 horizontals with Levon Aronian after Round 9, is left behind with 5,5 points and shares 3-5 horizontals with Grischuk and Akopian.

Vladimir Akopian won against Etienne Bacrot and now holds a leading position in the tournament table.

Bacrot, Karjakin, Svidler and Mamedyarov have 5 points. Kasimdzhanov, Eljanov and Kamsky have 4,5 and Gelfand has 4 points. Vassily Ivanchuk again ends last with 3,5 points.
