Forum on Black Sea trans-border cooperation program underway

The forum for the preparation of the program activities to be conducted in the frames of the Black Sea trans-border cooperation got underway in Armenia today. The forum is held by the EU Regional Capacity Building Initiative (RCBI), supported by the Armenian Economy Ministry.

The forum is due in Yerevan today and in Vanadzor tomorrow.

The participants are introduced the Black Sea trans-border cooperation joint action plan, are explained the rules of submitting their suggestions, the application forms, the possible ways of finding partners in the participating countries.

Projects can be jointly presented and they should meet the criteria of one of the following types:

• Interconnected projects, when the partners make investments into different components of the project, conducted in the participating countries.
• Proportional projects, when the same activities are carried out in all the participating countries.
• Projects, which are carried out in one of the partner countries, but all the partners benefit, as a result.
