Iker Casillas: I want to stay with Real Madrid for life
Iker Casillas has issued a passionate denial that he could leave Real Madrid for Manchester United this summer after reports linked him with a move to Old Trafford, Goal.com reported.
The Spain international is currently on Confederations Cup duty, however, he has constantly been asked about the alleged interest from the English giants and has now spoken out.
"There is absolutely nothing from United nor any other club," he is quoted as saying by AS.
"Neither my agent nor Real Madrid have told me about any offer and no one has telephoned me. It is all speculation, things that happen during the transfer market.
"People can stay calm because there is honestly nothing from Manchester United. I am a Spain and Real Madrid player."
Casillas was one of the players that penned a long-term deal at the Santiago Bernabeu under previous president Ramon Calderon and has no intention of leaving before that bond ends.
"I have a contract with Madrid until 2017 and I want to complete that," he continued.
"Everyone knows that I am a Madridista and am 100 per cent with the club forever. I joined Real Madrid as a boy and it is my home."
