Three men leadership in Jermuk

The last two games of the 9th round of FIDE Grand Prix fifth tournament taking place in Jermuk ended in draw. Vasili Ivanchuk managed to keep the balance with Pavel Elyanov and gained 0.5 points, though if he had managed to win he would have been the only leader in the championship list. Sergei Karyakin ended in draw the game with Ernesto Inarkiev.

According to the results of the ninth round the three men leadership is recorded in the championship list. Vasili Ivanchuk, Rustam Kasimjanov, Peter Leko are among the leaders, each having 6 points. Levon Aronyan, Yevgeni Alekseyev, Pavel Elyanov and Sergei Karyakin each having 5 points are in the 4-7 positions. Boris Gelfand and Etyen Bakro follow them with 4.5 points. Dmitriy Yakovenko has 4 points, Vladimir Hakobyan and Gata Kamski each has 3.5 points, Ivan Chaparinov has 3 points. Ernesto Inarkiev is the last in the list with 2 points.
