The murder-case of senior police official soon to be disclosed

“Soon we will evidence disclosures of some sensational murders”, - said Alik Sargsyan, the head of the Police of the Republic of Armenia in today’s press conference.

He mentioned that some people are arrested, and effective means are undertaken on the case of the murder of senior police official Gevorg Mheryan.

Meanwhile Sargsyan said that the disclosure of such cases is really difficult and time demanding.

“There are concrete people arrested, soon we will get answers. The disclosure of this case is a matter of pride and dignity for us, be sure”,-said Alik Sargsyan.

Senior police official Gevorg Mheryan was shot dead on February 3, next to his house.

A. Sargsyan also informed about another criminal case referring to an authority, but gave no names.

“Just yesterday a crime was committed. The someone told me that he had been deceived in money issues, and suggested to bring the swindler and make him give the money back. I suggested him to make an appeal. And he answered that he did not like writing if we bring and beat that person for a night he will give the money back”,- told the head of the police, mentioning that the police has changed, the criminals are no longer beaten for being arrested.

“Appeal officially and the cases will be investigated officially”,- said A. Sargsyan.
