Sergey Grigoryants lost 0.5 points
In the international chess championship in Barcelona, which is conducted according to Swedish contest rules, including 276 chess players and having 9 rounds, our compatriot Sergey Grigoryants (Russia) gained 3 points after the 3rd round and was included in the list of 27 leading chess players.
Sergey Grigoryants ended the 4th round in a draw with Israel Caspian and now shares the 8-25 positions with 3.5 points. 7 players with 4 points are among the leaders: Vyacheslav Ikonikov, Alexander Ipatov, David Larino Nieto, Omar Almeida-Quintana, Alexander Fier, Mestre Bellido Hector, Luch Berges.
In the 5th round Sergey Grigoryants’s rival is Mestre Bellido Hector.
