Labels on the houses of Armenians and Greeks in Istanbul
As the Turkish news agency “Anka” is reporting, Mrs.Sebahat Tuncel a member of Democratic Society Party (DTP) has raised a question in the Turkish Parliament concerning the settlements inhabited by Armenians and Greeks. It is mentioned there that Feriqyoy and Kurtuluş areas of Istanbul are the most vastly inhabited areas with Armenians and Greeks.
“The MP Tuncel asked the Turkish Interior Minister Besir Atalay who are sticking green and red labels on the houses of Armenians and Greeks. She has underlined that in that areas the number of the mentioned labels is rising after the realized violence and robberies in that district against those who do not belong to Islamic religion”, - the agency informs.
Tuncel asked the Turkish Foreign minister whether the Ministry is taking up measures in that concern.
