Armenian judoka fulfill the expectations
For the second day Yudo European Youth Championship is being held in Yerevan. On the very first day Armenian national team took two bronze-medals. In the 55-60 kg David Mkrtchyan and Tigran Varosyan seeded prizes.
A detailed presentation for a close acquaintance:
David Mkrtchyan was born in 1990 in Yerevan. This year’s international competitions in Czech Republic he seeded the first as well as in April’s competitions in Georgia, and he seeded the second in Iran.
Tigran Varosyan was born in Vanadzor. He has got less experience in international competitions, but this did not prevent him to take bronze at European Youth Championship in Yerevan. He has become Cup of Youth’s winner this year, seeded the second at international championship held in Georgia and repeated this success in Czech Republic.
“My students fulfill expectations of mine. We look forward to new victories. Athletes are in a good shape and we hope to win medals. However, I don’t want to make any hasty predictions. I just want our people to inspire Armenian athletes by their spectator’s presence,” said Armenian national team’s Head Coach Tigran Babayan in according to press-office of Armenia’s Judo Federation.
We also add that Ani Avakyan and Ani Ilichyan in the 63-70 kg will enter the Champ today.
