Delegations had satisfied with the level of EC in judo
Judo European Youth Championship'2009 started in Yerevan on September, 11, where 38 national teams partook. The organizational work of the tournament had been carried out at a high level that was marked by guests ant participants.
“I had the opportunity to experience a big number of tournaments. The EC in Yerevan is organized brilliantly. The owners have provided everything including accommodation, food, medical services, transfer and communications. So Armenia can become place to launch higher-level tournaments," said EU’s director of sport issues Indreg Pertelson (Estonia).
On Belarus’s Pavel Yatinovsky opinion Yerevan’s Sport and Concert Complex named after Karen Demirchyan is only enough to respect and appreciate the culture of the Armenian people.
“This building is unique. I want to thank Armenia’s Chairman of the National Olympic Committee Gagik Tsarukyan, Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Armen Grigoryan, Head of Armenia’s Judo Federation Alexan Avetissyan, as they have done their best to organize the Champ at the highest level. I would also like to note the impartiality of judges. No one of participants has been displeased,” Yatinovsky said.
He also noted that Armenia’s national team was well prepared for Champ having taken two bronze-medals on the very first day.
