IT-scientists gather in Yerevan
Armenia’s National Academy hosts today the Seventh International Science Conference “Computer Science and information technologies-2009” where partake scientists from 27 countries including Russia, France, Turkey, Hungary, UK, Ukraine, Japan, and U.S.
ANA’s president Radik Martirosyan and Armenia’s Economy minister Nerses Eritsyan spoke to CSIT’2009 noting the importance of computer science.
Mr. Eritsyan underlined that the conference was one of those events scheduled in IT this month and aimed at increase of computer science, scientific and technological information sharing, and developing the cooperation opportunities between Armenian and foreign scientists.
The conference will include presentations on basic spheres, will hold working sessions on practical value titled “Armenia’s participation in Black Sea Relationship project”, “Information Security in Armenia: current situation and problems”, “Universal networking URL-language”, “Armenian national Initiative GRID”, etc.
The conference will last till October, 2 and will summarize the results during Roundtable “Around Armenia’s IT policy”.
The organizers of the conference are Institute of Informatics and Automation Problems of ANA, Government, Synopsis-Armenia Company, Yunicomp Company, Haylink Company, Yerevan Scientific-Educational Institute of communications, “Enterprise Incubator” Foundation, Viragelogic Armenia.
