G.Sargsyan “There are many interesting things in this exhibition

“This type of events are the first step of the scientific works which allow to enter into the life. We got acquainted with a few interesting things already, I think there are a lot of interesting things in this exhibition which will give us an opportunity to take into consideration in working out the rest of our plans”, - said Gurgen Sargsyan the RA Minister of Minister of Transport and Communication during the DigiTec Expo 2009 exhibition.

The Minister mentioned that the technologies and the science develop regardless the economic crises and it is impossible to stop that progress. By his words today’s innovations offer a series of directions which can have a parallel development. But it is possible that some of them will be realized and will cover all the market. “For example the expansion of internet through the electricity; can it be brought to life, can it cover the market or it will stay just as an attempt or a part of it. It will be noticed in some period.”

Coming up to the reduction of the prices of companies that import internet, “Armentell” and “Faybernet”, with 20 – 25 %, G. Sargsyan mentioned that that process has the intention is not a procedure for one time only.

Answering the question of Aysor.am whether there will be changes in the internet market after the third operator’s, “GLCalfa”, launch, the Minister answered that the existence of one more operator will give the opportunity to keep the competence in the internet market, which on its turn will give an opportunity to improve “the quality and to undertake steps concerning the prices”.
