Minasyan: 'I sincerely believe in good result'
Armenian football national team’s head coach Vardan Minasyan said that despite the team will play against Europe Championship winner – that is, Spain, nevertheless, he believes in success.
“To assess the situation really: it’ll be difficult,” he told Aysor. “Anyway, this is football. Spain’s team is a more skilled than our previous rival – Belgium’s team which despite its high-class staff lost to us. Sure, Spaniards are much stronger, it’s number one team for me; however, it’s either possible to play against them, and I sincerely believe in good result.”
When asked what skills will provide a positive result, head coacher mentioned good play’s components: aggressive attacks and defense as well.
“It’s important never play like ill at ease against strong player. It’s especially important to be calm when you exactly have a ball. To be organized and disciplined that is what we need. We won Belgium at the expense of solidarity and discipline. These skills we need at tomorrow’s match.”
