An open letter to Aghvan Hovsepyan

The central committee of the new national conservative movement has sent a letter to the Prosecutor General of Armenia Aghvan Hovsepyan and has informed that on October 17 the police of the Vanadzor city at 23-00 in the area of Tigran Mets Avenue has arrested the head of the New National Conservative Movement in Vanadzor Manvel Kostandyan and the member of the studentship of Lori region Levon Yolchinyan.

“Being concerned with the fact that the police has arrested the members of our organization without any necessity and reasons, have taken their passports without opening a case and a signature for not leaving the city, and considering this a concrete fact of violation of human rights, as well as violation against the transportation rights and an example of position breaching we apply to you, informing about it and mentioning that you can accept this as a statement for opening a criminal case or starting an investigation”, - the letter directed to the Prosecutor General reads.
