Armenian women’s team plays in draw

Armenian women’s chess team with a solid 2:2 draw against France’s team finishes round six at the 17th Team Chess Championship in Novi Sad, Serbia.

Lilit Mkrtchyan won over Sophie Miliet; Lilit Galoan defeated Silvia Collas while Elina Danielyan and Siranush Andriasyan lost to Marie Sebag and Paullina Guichiar.

After the sixth round Russian and Georgian teams top the list with 10 points. Azerbaijan’s team with 9 points seeded third, followed by Armenia, Romania, France, Czech Republic, Ukraine, and Israel with 8 points each.

At today’s seventh round, Armenian team will play against Romania, Russian team will meet with Azerbaijan, and Georgia will play against Israel.
