CTS-2009 tourism exhibition will take place on November 6-7
On November 6-7 in Yerevan in Moscow cinema will be held the CTS-2009 international tourism exhibition that is being organized every year and during which the tour operators, the hotels, the restaurants and the centers of amusements will present to the representatives of their Armenian and foreign tour operators and to the public. The participants will have the opportunity to sell their stuffs and their services to their potential customers.
“This exhibition is traditionally being held every year and the geography and number of the participants is being enlarged little by little. The exhibition is aimed at becoming international”, - the head of the Tourism and Regional Development Department of the RA Ministry of Economy, Mekhak Apresyan informed to Aysor.am.
Yeghishe Tanashyan, the vice president of the Armenian Association of Travel Agents (AATA) informed that this year around 60-65 companies will partake in the exhibition of which around 20% are foreigners, particularly from Georgia (9 companies), Israel, Greece, Nagorno Karabakh, also from Belgium and Finland.
“There is a maximal enlargement of the sphere. The tour agencies, tour operators and companies, hotel complexes, air companies, associations in tourism area, Armenian Guides Guild (AGG), the Georgian Union of tourism, Traveling press and mainly the informative agencies as well as a few companies of amusement will be present”, - Y. Tanashyan mentioned.
The exhibition is being held under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy of the Armenian Republic, and the participation of American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA). The main partners are the USAID CAPS and the Union of Traveling agents of Armenia.
