Levon Aronyan to play against world champion Anand
Round eight of the Fourth Moscow Tal Chess Tournement dedicated to Grand Master Mikhail Tal brought just a single resultant game of Magnus Karlsen-Ruslan Ponomaryev set in which Ruslan Ponomaryev lost. Vladimir Kramnic drew with Peter Leko, other players as well played in a draw.
Thus, previously to final round, Vladimir Kramnik at 5.5 points leads the tournament table. Viswanathan Anand (India) and Vassily Ivanchuk (Ukraine) at 5 points seeded 2-3 followed by Magnus Karlsen at 4.5 points. Levon Aronyan and Boris Gelfand earned 4 points each.
