The economic directory for the journalists

Today the NASDAQ OEMEQS Armenia and InterNews presented to the journalists the book called “Elucidation of Economy: directory for the journalists”.

On the presentation of the book were present the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Great Britain to Armenian Republic Charles Londseyl.

The director of the Internews organization Nune Sargsyan informed that this directory addressed to the Armenian journalists is prepared by the British “Irving International Limited” organization in the frameworks of “Journalistic classes on business and economic issues” project. The program is supported by the British Council in Armenia. It was aimed to improve the quality of economic and business journalism, and to promote the more professional elucidation of those subjects. On the program were present about 20 journalists from Yerevan and other regions of Armenia.

“On the works of forming the directory were present also Armenian and English experts. It is based on our reality”, - mentioned N. Sargsyan.

According to Charles Londseyl the Media is the important part of the strong society in the country.

“The journalists should have the opportunity of retraining. The economy and the business are important, but at the present economic situation its correct elucidation is rather important. The book gives an opportunity to the reader to gain the necessary skills and knowledge”, - Ch. Londseyl said.

N. Sargsyan informed that the book will be provided to any journalist and will be distributed to different high educational institutions.
